Every day is what you make it..: Carly's 7th Birthday!!!

Carly's birthday was last Thursday and we had a small celebration for her to hold her over until her actual party. She was able to scoot out of her chores for the day and go play early instead of waiting until after lunch. She picked the restaurant she wanted to have her birthday dinner at and we had The Baley Clan meet us to make it extra special for Carly. Carly picked a cake from the restaurant so after we had dinner we came back to sing and eat and then Carly opened just a few of her gifts. {We picked the gifts lol.. knowing we would have to use them right after she opened them }
Then we surprised Carly with fireworks! It was only a few, they were leftover from July 4th... but she thought it was awesome lol. After that Sarah's kids spent the night :) So it was quite an exciting evening.. one that Carly decided was her " best birthday ever " ... Made us feel like a million bucks!
Her party is next weekend so this week coming up will be busy. Doing last minute things to get it ready - we are havin' it here, and I am making a Taco Bar for dinner and a cupcake tower for dessert :) and I have a sand art project planned for the kids to be able to make and take home with them plus we are doing a pinata! So it will be busy busy busy... I have 2 of my ladies coming over to help :op
This week coming up is also the last week before school starts!! WOOO WHOO!! I think Carly is just as ready as we are for her to go back lol.. she is restless.

Other exciting news..?? ... Clay is talking about 22 hours non-stop out of each day.. lol so he is getting pretty proficient at it. He's started talking to us like a normal kid, its cute. His new thing is "yeah sure mom" or "what's it name?"
Huck is getting big and just had his last vet appt this week and got his last vaccine he needed so now he is able to go outside. I'm not ready to let him out ( just scared he'll run away ) but he really seems like he wants to. He hangs on the screens, tries to dart out the door when we let Bo in or out... so. Once i get some flea stuff on him i think I will take the chance and see how he does.
Will is doin' great @ work... like usual :) And our list for available 2013 billets should be coming out soon.
I'm doin' well.. busy with the kids and animals. Planning for Halloween and thinking about Christmas gifts for the kids this year. Pretty much just staying busy all day long :op
For the last 3 months I've been slowly changing my lifestyle and adjusting the way I eat. So far it's been the best I've felt about myself in a long time. As of this past Wednesday... I am down a total of 33 lbs!!
Last weekend I had to go and buy smaller clothes. I just got a few items, hopefully I wont stay in them for long lol. I am down 3 shirt sizes and 3 pants sizes, which is just unbelievable... I am in the same size pants I was in when Will and I were married 8 years ago. I still have a long way to get to where I wanna be - but I am so excited about the start I have :)
