We have all had a crud for a few weeks now that Carly brought home from school. Wednesday Clay went from having just a cough to having a fever... we gave him Motrin on and off and by Thursday it was pretty high. And that afternoon it reached 104 degrees and I couldn't bring it down with medicine :(
We panicked and Will took Clay to the E.R.
They tested for Strep which was negative and did a chest x-ray. Poor baby was scared to death Will said. The final word was the beginning stages of pneumonia. So we rushed to get his medicine filled before they closed and started him on it that night. His fever was still high, that night it topped out at 105 :(
I was so worried about him :(
Today after 3 days of antibiotics i noticed a small rash on his belly. and within an hour it had spread to his entire body almost - minus his legs.
Will is stuck at work so I took Carly to Sarah's house and off to the E.R. i went again :(
Final verdict again is a viral infection on top of the pneumonia. OY!
And they almost wanted to put in an I.V. because he was refusing to eat or drink.
Since we've been back i have gotten him to drink some water and chocolate milk and he snacked on some Chez-Its.
So... I officially want to tape off our house with BIO-HAZARD tape and set off a Lysol bomb .... just so over it.
That's our weekend so far and I am hoping that little man starts to get better soon...
Clay when he came back from the E.R. the first time - they gave him a pirate bear for being such a good patient lol..

I think Huck knew Clay needed lovin' .. he never sits with him but did that day..

Feelin' like poop.. :o(
And a few Huck... I sure am lovin' this little kitty cat..
