Hello everyone! Today is father's day!
Will was able to get off around lunch so we have a dinner planned. I'm making his requested beer-battered mushrooms :)
I got Will a ton of c.d.'s he had been wanting and Carly and Clay got him a Mossy Oak hunting jacket.
We also drove to the next town and got him a Dairy Queen ice cream cake! YUM!!

And we potentially have exciting news!
We could be/most likely will be getting another doggie!
We initially wanted a puppy but there are alot of basset hound rescues around here so we checked those out first.
This is the girl we found :)
Her name (right now) is Sassy. She is 4 years old (same age as Bo).
She is a purebred basset, tricolored.
She's only had one owner, and from what we are told was neglected.
They got her as a puppy and once she was full grown stuck her in the yard. They bred her and sold all her puppies but one, then MOVED and left her and her one puppy behind :(
She was in the yard for almost 2 months before she was rescued :(
So she is a bit skinny as you can see from the pictures, but we will be able to fatten her up in no time !
We are all going and meeting her next Sunday, and if the visit goes well we will adopt her!
Her foster mom says she has the best temperament, great with kids, dogs, cats just about everyone!
And she howls, which Will is thrilled about haha!
If she goes for it, we want to change her name to "Clementine"
So i will let everyone know in a week how it went!
