its been a while, just an update..

Hey everyone, just wanted to update since i have a few minutes.
Things are going ok*
Clay is super super sick....i took him into the doctors yesterday because i thought he might have bronchitis...but its just a cold virus. He's too young for any meds other than tylenol and motrin, and im not getting much out with the nose sucker so we have no choice but to let it run its course, which completely sucks...
We had his heart echo last week, and things are looking good there. The hole is still there though. They didnt measure it-but the pressure in his chambers are closer to normal so that leads them to believe that it is shrinking. From what we understand from the caridiologists- there are 4 reasons in which they do surgery to repair the hole..and the only 2 that are possibilities right now are
1-he isnt growing and gaining weight or
2-the abonormal pressure in the chambers causes the chambers to be enlarged.
*Clay is gaining, but its very slow. He was 16 lbs 10 ozs at the appt, which is good. Usually babies double their birthweight around 4 months, but he is just now doubling it at 6 months. so, hes a little below average but since he is steadily gaining at his own pace, they arent concerned yet.
**The pressure in the 2 chambers between the hole is a little on the high side of normal they said. but since its still in the normal range-they arent going to worry yet about that either.
Best case scenario is that it gradually closes and his starts gaining weight faster and the pressure equalizes, worse case is that it doesnt and they do surgery to fix it. so..we go back in 9 months from now.
She also said that he may be burning extra calories from the having the hole so he is slow to gain weight and that could be why he is still eating at night...so, he may not sleep through the night until its fixed....eesh...lol..
but all in all it was a good trip :)

Carly is doing great in school! We just turned in her findraiser paper yesterday, so thank you all so much that bought something! she was able to sell 13 items so she gets about 6 prizes and a back pack buddy lol, so she is excited :p and we have gotten all the things everyone sent to us in the mail from the catalog so thank you for that too!

Will is taking leave, yay!! It starts tomorrow and we are excited lol...our anniversary is on saturday so we will have the time to spend together. Its been 6 years married, and 8 years together for us, wow....time flies so so fast lol...
