Hey everyone! Just wanted to drop a line to show Will’s new video for the station…
He had a bit of a spill on the boat recently and since they video tape the training, we got it on a dvd for the station. It doesn’t look as bad as it was Will said, but it shook him up a bit right after. Right before the 5 minute mark you can see Will stand up at the back of the boat waiting for the wave that’s coming right at them. Then you see water and then him on the floor. He was strapped in but the straps caught and he hit pretty hard. Messed up his wrist and he cracked his helmet..but im so glad he had it on…ugh…
At the very end you can see him holding a knife-that knife is actually on the back of the boat in a sheath, but when the wave hit it knocked it off and it flew past him..so if he hadn’t of fell then it could have hit him instead…
BLAH for surf training, but im thankful he is ok and that we have a cool video!
