Just a quick blog to show off more pictures. Carly had school today and Will has to work the weekend so i wanted to do something special with Carly so after lunch we made some cookies :) We attempted to do some cutouts but my dough didn't want to cooperate so i dropped them on a pan and Carly did the sprinkles. After that we made some icing from my Lady and Sons cookbook...so, right now we are waiting for them to cool so we can put some frosting on them. After taking pictures of Carly it made me think of a picture my mom had taken of me. So i got to lookin and found it :)
The first picture is of me helping cook too, the back says 1989 so i was 5, not too much older than Carly is now. Maybe my pregnancy hormones are making me sappy but i wanted to share. I remember almost every single time that i helped my mom or gramma's cook or bake when i was Carly's age...and I'm really glad that i am able to give her memories like that as well...
So, i had a full circle today.
